Do you have a referral program?
Yes! Collect swap coupons and help your friends and your Swap Community at the same time!
This is how:
Invite your friends and family to join. Tell them to send us an e-mail, naming you as the referrer. We will award you 5 free swap coupons for every new member, as soon as they post their first item.

What are "My Swap Alerts"?
If you are looking for a specific item / service that is currently not listed on Swap@Home, you can request to be notified when somebody does offers it.
Swap@Home will automatically e-mail you when the item you're looking for is listed on Swap@Home.
Here's how to request to be alerted to a specific new offer:
1. Let’s say you’re looking for the movie "Lord of the Rings" on DVD. First check that it isn’t currently listed on the Swap@Home.
2. After Login go to "My Swap Alerts”, enter a key word like “Rings” into the “DVDs” category.
3. When any DVDs that contain the word "Rings" in their title or description are offered, you will automatically be notified by e-mail.
4. You can update, or delete your requested item / service as often as you wish.
How can I send a message to another swapper?
You don’t ever have to exchange actual e-mail addresses to send a message to another swapper. All you need is the member’s user name, listed under any of their posted items.
1. Login
2. Go to ”My Mailbox”
3. Click on “Send a New Message”
We will then send an instant e-mail to that swapper telling them that they have a message waiting!
What are "Time Sensitive Swap Offers"?
These are swap offers with an expiry date – the maximum length of listing an offer in this category is 4 weeks (e.g. for Concert Tickets, which have an expiry date).
To list an offer in the "Time Sensitive Swap Offers" category, follow the following steps:
1. Login
2. Go to "Post a Swap"
3. Enter your item information
4. Check off the "Time Sensitive" and "Limited Posting" boxes and enter the expiry date of the swap (not to exceed 4 weeks in total).
Who pays for shipping the swap item?
The requesting swapper reimburses the supplying swapper for the cost of shipping. The cost of shipping will be transferred to the supplying swapper’s Swap Bank Account. In turn, they can use those funds to request swap items and reimburse other supplying swappers for the cost of shipping.
For example:
A member requests 10 DVDs from you, which you will then ship. You specified the cost of shipping for each DVD as US$ 1.20. After the completion of the swap US$12.00 will be transferred from the account of the requesting member to your Swap Bank Account. You can now use this money for requesting and paying the shipping of other swap items.
The amount of the cost of shipping is decided by the supplying swapper, but should reflect the actual cost of shipping. You will find links providing guidelines for calculating the cost of shipping via USPS, Canada Post and UPS by clicking on ‘Post a Swap’.
